A tribute to the celebrated hybrid analogue and digital synthesizers of the mid-to-late 1980s, with morphing oscillators, stereo filters, polyphonic strings and MPE support.

Dreamsynth draws its inspiration from instruments such as the Ensoniq ESQ-1, the Kawai “K” series and the Sequential Prophet VS, which combined the precision of sampled digital oscillators with the warmth of analogue filters. Three dual-waveform oscillators provide up to six simultaneous virtual analogue or PCM oscillators, joined by OB-style 12 dB/octave multimode stereo filters and a fully polyphonic string synthesizer that can be layered or split independently of the main synth. With 20 modulation sources and over 40 destinations, plus modulatable effects ranging from distortion and sample crushing through phaser, chorus, flanger and rotary speaker to delay and the new “Galactic” reverb, Dreamsynth blends the character of that era with the possibilities of modern software instruments.
