An original polyphonic synthesizer that uses diverse waveshaping methods to bend four sine-wave oscillators into infinitely variable, complex shapes – for sounds from the sublime to sizzling.

The interface follows a “four of everything” layout – four LFOs, four oscillators and four envelope generators – and provides instant visual feedback with illuminated indicators and mini oscilloscopes. Each oscillator offers the waveshaping controls feedback, phase, width, shape, wavefold and drive, plus a sub and a super oscillator; phase modulation and ratio dials let the oscillators be configured as modulators and carriers for four-op DX-style FM synthesis. Add to that Cherry Audio’s most extensive multimode filter to date, an arpeggiator, a selection of effects, a drift function, an eight-band graphic EQ and a four-slot mod matrix. Over 500 presets cover subtractive, additive and FM approaches – from evolving pads and bright FM plucks to leads and crisp percussive tones.
