Virtual synthesizer that recreates the sound and look of all three versions of the ARP Odyssey – Mk I (1972), Mk II (1975) and Mk III (1978) – and expands them with polyphony, a third oscillator and effects.

ODC 2800 pays tribute to synth pioneer Alan R. Pearlman and uses Mark Barton’s circuit-modelled DSP designs to reproduce the sonic behaviour of the originals with precision. Compared with the hardware, it offers three complete VCOs with sawtooth and square/pulse waveforms, an additional LFO, extended sync routing and three FM modulators per VCO, including an assignable one with 35 sources. You can play it in mono, legato, duophonic or polyphonic mode with up to 16 voices, unison, velocity and polyphonic aftertouch, and smart portamento keeps glides musical in polyphonic playing. An expandable effects panel and over 330 presets in 13 categories complete the instrument.
