Virtual synthesizer that recreates the 1981 and 1982 Trident Mk I and Mk II hardware synths with their three sections – synthesizer, brass and strings – and expands them considerably.

Each of the three sections now offers 16 voices: the synthesizer section is fully polyphonic with a filter per voice based on the original’s SSM 2044, while brass and strings remain paraphonic like the hardware, each with its own filter. Velocity, aftertouch including polyphonic aftertouch and pedal expression can be assigned to the sections independently. In the new Motion panel you set up splits and layers with Quick Split templates or draggable zones and use a 16x2 polyphonic step sequencer and two arpeggiators. 17 effects, from the original BBD flanger to the new Lushverb, can be arranged in four effects chains, and over 370 presets are included.
