Virtual synthesizer inspired by the 1982 Memorymoog polyphonic analogue synthesizer – the thoroughly reworked successor to Cherry Audio’s Memorymode, with two layers and over 800 presets.

With six voices, a total of 18 VCOs and the 24 dB/octave Moog ladder filter, the 1982 Memorymoog is often described as “six Minimoogs in one”; Cherry Audio’s first Memorymode from 2021 was modelled on a unit once owned by Chick Corea. Memorymode 2 brings improved analogue modelling of the oscillators, filters and envelopes as well as two layers with 16 voices each, or up to 48 voices per layer in unison. The ladder filter offers 12 or 24 dB slopes, a “modern” setting and emphasis compensation, while velocity, channel and polyphonic aftertouch, MPE and four touch modulation lanes extend expressive control. Each layer has an arpeggiator and a 16x4 step sequencer, 22 effects are spread across three effects chains, and the over 800 presets include the 100 original Memorymoog factory patches.
