D16 Syntorus 2 - Download

Syntorus 2 is a chorus plug-in that precisely models the bucket-brigade device (BBD) technology of vintage analogue delays.

Inspired by the chorus effects of classic synthesizers such as the Solina String Ensemble, Elka Synthex and Roland Juno-106, Syntorus 2 uses three delay lines instead of one for a fuller, deeper sound. Each delay line has a multimode filter and a tremolo, driven by three LFOs that can be synced to host tempo and phase-locked to the playhead position; the optional Analog BBD emulation adds extra analogue warmth. The effect brings life to synth basses and leads, adds depth to guitars and other instruments and, using the filter and delay modulation, is also well suited to convincing Leslie sounds.

Features

  • Three delay lines modelled on analogue BBD circuits
  • Multimode filter and tremolo in every delay line
  • Three LFOs with tempo sync and phase sync to the playhead position
  • Delay line mixer with pan, volume and VU meter per line
  • Switchable modulation topologies and optional Analog BBD emulation
  • MIDI Learn and scalable HiDPI interface
