Devastor 2 is a multiband distortion with a diode clipper, three synth-style filters and nine routing options, from subtle colouring to heavy distortion.

Devastor 2 is an enhanced version of the distortion unit found in Phoscyon, offering full control over multiband processing. Thanks to special antialiasing techniques, the diode clipper emulation sounds warm and musical. Instead of peaking EQs, it uses filters like those in analogue synthesizers (low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, band-reject) with resonance and cutoff, working before, after or alongside the clipper. The effect suits acid synths, guitar fuzz, amp sounds and drums, yet with low gain it can also subtly bring out warmth and detail.
