Redoptor 2 is a precisely modelled tube distortion that captures the sensitivity, warmth and character of real tube saturation.

Just like a real tube amp, Redoptor 2 responds to the dynamics of the source material: loud signals saturate more with even and odd harmonics and then gradually return to a clean state as they decay. A compressor before the gain stage shapes the response of the tube circuit, while a master output limiter tames heavily distorted sounds. A fully adjustable pre-filter whose high and low cutoffs can be placed before or after processing, plus a 4-band parametric EQ with independent gain and frequency controls, allow very flexible tone shaping.
