Pulsatec is a modern equaliser that captures the essence of vintage passive EQs and gives any source a warm, musical tone.

As with its models, the same frequency range can be boosted and attenuated at the same time, a technique cherished for decades, for example to create a punchy low end. The low band offers 20, 30, 60 and 100 Hz with independent boost and attenuation controls, two mid bands cover 200 Hz to 2 kHz and 3 to 16 kHz with adjustable bandwidth, and the high band attenuates at 5, 10 or 20 kHz. A built-in real-time analyser compares input and output spectra and overlays the target curve, while quick bypass, output volume and output metering complete this tool for mixing and mastering.
