Nepheton 2 is a fully synthesised emulation of the famous 808 drum machine with extended sound controls and an internal sequencer.

Seventeen fully synthesised modules recreate all the sounds and nuances of the original and add extra controls for tone and envelopes. Each module can be routed to any of 12 outputs in mono or stereo, alongside the original trigger output. The internal sequencer offers 96 simple and 16 extended patterns with variations, fills and intros, complemented by a randomiser and a shuffle knob that goes far beyond triplets. Patterns and banks are stored in XML format, making them easy to share.
