Both MagicDeathEye compressors in one package: MagicDeathEye for individual tracks and the mastering bus, and MagicDeathEyeStereo with its EQ section for the master bus.

Both plug-ins are official emulations of the hand-built tube compressors by Ian Sefchick, a mastering engineer at Capitol Records, and were created after almost a year of circuit and signal analysis. MagicDeathEye is a variable-mu compressor whose circuit is loosely based on the Fairchild 660: it compresses without squashing, glues the signal together warmly and smoothly, and works in mono or stereo as a plug-in. MagicDeathEyeStereo recreates the stereo compressor for the master bus and mastering, with its integrated, inductor-based EQ section and a gentler compression curve, and adds extras such as a high-frequency EQ for the stereo, mid or side signal, an elliptical filter for vinyl mastering and up to 4x oversampling.
