A cross-platform analyser that shows exactly what a plug-in does to your audio, made for plug-in developers and power users alike.

Plugindoctor loads effect plug-ins into two independent chains of up to six plug-ins each and analyses them in parallel or as a difference, using a double-precision FFT engine with independent analysis of both stereo channels. Linear analysis shows magnitude and phase response, harmonic analysis measures THD and THD+N, intermodulation distortion and sweeps, and there is also an oscilloscope, dynamics tests for compression and expansion and a measurement of processing time per buffer size. Curves can be stored for comparison, and besides the standalone application there is a plug-in version for analysing and listening in parallel directly in your DAW.
