A four-band multiband compressor that selects attack, release and knee to suit the signal by itself, so you can focus on threshold and gain to achieve a great spectral balance.

OberComp takes some of the complexity out of a traditional compressor while still leaving you enough control over the creative process. Cascaded Linkwitz-Riley filters split the signal into four bands with perfectly flat summation, each running four independent sub-compressors, while two alternative algorithms dynamically determine the optimum time constants. Pre- and post-compression gain per band lets you control how hard you drive the compressors and balance the result to taste, and a sidechain bus plus a global mix control for parallel compression complete a tool whose sound is clean but not without character.
