A 3-band sound processor with frequency-dependent waveshaping for special effects and dynamic and tonal processing, right up to mastering final mixes.

At the heart of DUY Shape is the FDWS algorithm (Frequency Dependent WaveShaping): a smooth 3-band filter with continuously variable crossover points across the full audio range splits the signal, and three independent user-defined shapers, each with eight curve types such as linear, log and cosine plus a linear expand function, shape the sound. This enables dynamic enhancement, smooth equalisation, waveshaping compression, frequency enhancement, revitalising old mixes or redistributing frequency energy along your own response curve. You can process individual tracks as well as master final mixes, whether music, instruments, voices or effects. The mix switch selects only the low, mid or high shaper or all bands, making independent adjustments easy.
