DaD Vinyl simulates the legendary and sought-after sound of old disc records, adding a soulful and nostalgic feel to your music.

Despite its name, DaD Vinyl imitates not only vinyl but also records made of other materials such as shellac – known to collectors as “78s” – and simulates the common speeds of 33, 45 and 78 RPM. You can customise your virtual phonograph in detail, with control over tone parameters, rumble, disc damage, overall quality and stereo image as well as independent control of pops and scratches, so you hear the dust, hiss and mechanical noise of the turntable. A unique control even lets you choose the year of the recording, and some modes allow unusual tweaks when pushed to their extremes.
