All instruments and ensembles in RA were sampled extensively to preserve their true character and expression, with articulations ranging from controlled to expressive. The instruments have been newly programmed for Opus from the original recordings: an intelligent performance section with portamento, repetition and legato, round robin reset, improved micro-tuning and a convolution reverb with pre-delay give you more control over the sound. A high-fidelity one-pole filter provides natural crossfades, and channel sourcing lets you edit the stereo image.
