Symphonic Orchestra Platinum is an extensive orchestral library recorded in a concert hall, enabling convincing orchestral arrangements with a natural ambience.

The EastWest/Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra was recorded by eleven-time Grammy-nominated classical recording engineer Prof. Keith O. Johnson and produced by Doug Rogers and Nick Phoenix. It was the first orchestral collection to be recorded in a state-of-the-art concert hall, whose acoustics add realism and shimmer to every note so the instruments sound as if they were playing live. All instruments were sampled with close, stage and surround microphones, and an intelligent performance section with portamento, repetition, legato and round robin reset makes realistic performances easy. Sound On Sound readers honoured the collection three times with the Reader’s Choice Award.
