String Machine pays homage to the classic string synthesizers of the 60s, 70s and 80s and combines their sound with modern strings, brass, woodwinds and vocals.

Produced by Doug Rogers and Nick Phoenix, String Machine includes samples of classics such as the Arp Solina, Oberheim OBX, Roland RS-505 and Roland Jupiter 6, which you can instantly combine with modern strings, brass, woodwinds and vocals. The instruments are arranged in four colour-coded sections: string machines and pads, string sections, solo woodwinds and brass, and choirs and solo vocals. The characteristic ensemble chorus offers three modes, each with its own character, and the interface, with chunky instrument switches, envelope sliders and push buttons, is modelled on the original hardware. The result is rich, multi-layered pads with a vintage vibe for pop, rock and hip-hop.
