Hollywood Strings 2 is a string library featuring a 21-piece ensemble recorded with extremely close miking in EastWest Studio 2 for an intimate, highly detailed sound.

For the sequel to Hollywood Strings, producers Doug Rogers and Nick Phoenix and engineer Shawn Murphy returned, but this time chose a tighter ensemble in a smaller room, for a clear, clean and dry sound that suits any genre. All the essential articulations, from legato, detache and pizzicato to staccato, spiccato, marcato, col legno and flautando, were recorded with up to four dynamics, along with playable trills and runs. Three close mic positions, including mics attached directly to the instruments, plus main, mid and surround mics give you full control over proximity and space, and the library is Atmos-ready for Atmos mixes in DAWs that support it. In the OPUS engine you can download just the individual instruments you need.
