DrumX is a groove machine developed by EastWest together with hitmaker Jimmy Jam, combining ten iconic drum machines with hundreds of exclusive grooves.

DrumX combines the TR-808, TR-909, TR-606, LinnDrum, LM-1, DR-55, DR-110, DMX, DrumTraks and SP-12 with exclusive samples Jimmy Jam created specifically for DrumX, letting you shape, layer and push these sounds into new territory. The interface offers 16 pads in a 4x4 layout with per-pad controls, a powerful step sequencer, a Tape Saturation knob for harmonic distortion, machine-specific parameters in the Pad Inspector and a master effects chain built from professional-grade processors. Hundreds of grooves by Jimmy Jam, who as one half of Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis worked with Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, Boyz II Men and Usher, plus ready-to-play kits for Dance/Industrial, R’n’B/Funk, Pop, Hip-Hop and Ballad give you an instant starting point.
