Ircam Trax uses pioneering technology developed over the last decades by the sound analysis/synthesis team at IRCAM. Innovative signal transformation algorithms alter sound characteristics such as pitch, spectral timbre and duration, and with them the properties of a voice such as gender, age and breath. The suite comprises three processors: Transformer for real-time voice and sonic modelling, Cross Synthesis for spectral envelope morphing and Source Filter for enhanced sound filtering.
