A limiter for clean, transparent limiting that preserves the sonic integrity of the material even when the average level is raised dramatically.

Used at the very end of your processing chain, Pure Limiter gives you full control over your levels without introducing artefacts into the material. Beyond the usual input, output, threshold and knee controls, you can also shape the fundamental characteristics of the processing: the release section with high-pass and low-pass filters that set the frequency range feeding the release, a 0 to 20 ms lookahead that lowers the gain ahead of potential peaks to avoid distortion, plus make-up gain and channel linking. A display shows the output signal and the limiting action, either as a waveform or as a histogram.
