Syrah is an adaptive compressor based on the algorithms behind Alchemist and Solera that reacts in real time to the input signal and adapts to anything from individual sources to a complete mix.

The Mode setting defines how the algorithm adapts the processing to the material: in the two dynamic modes, a range of parameters varies in sync with the audio analysis, aiming for a result closer to the original material. Boost increases the overall processing intensity, Thickness fattens up the material, and Inverse inverts the final gain envelope for particularly striking effects. The refined interface lets you dial in compression quickly and efficiently, and the Dry Mix control with optional gain compensation also allows parallel compression.
