SourceLab combines up to six sound sources per patch, each loading wavetables, samples or loops, from wavetable synths to realistic multisampled instruments such as piano, guitar and strings. At its core is a six-layer MIDI sequencer for melodies, rhythms and loop sequences, while time stretching is handled by Zynaptiq’s ZTX algorithm. Unison voices can be set individually in wavetable position, tuning, gain, pan and phase, and notes can also be triggered on key release. Presets store every sample, loop, MIDI clip and wavetable in a single file, so nothing goes missing.
