A plug-in that splits a stereo signal into mid and side and processes both separately with EQ and compression.

MS EQ Comp encodes a standard stereo signal (left/right) into mid and side components, which you process separately with EQ and compressor and adjust in volume and panning. At the output, the signal is decoded back to stereo (left/right). This lets you correct the stereo image and ambience of an entire piece of music, or apply effects on an M/S basis to particular sources such as drums, vocals or narration.

Features

• Encoding from left/right to mid/side and back
• Separate EQ for mid and side signals
• Separate compressor for mid and side signals
• Adjustable volume and panning
• Correction of stereo image and ambience, also for drums, vocals or narration
