Sound it! 8 Pro is primarily geared towards mastering: you record, cut, edit and export polished mixes, apply fades, monitor left and right channels independently and navigate with a jog wheel and transport controls. High-resolution PCM up to 768 kHz/32-bit (DXD) as well as DSD64, DSD128 and DSD256 can be loaded, recorded, edited and saved, and DSD can also be recorded and played back natively without conversion to PCM. Included are Sonnox plug-ins such as the restoration suite, Oxford EQ, reverb and limiter, plus F-REX, the Loudness MeterPro conforming to EBU R128 and ARIB TR B32 and a wide range of further effects. Volume and pan automation, batch processing, DDP creation with ISRC and EAN, CD burning with CD-TEXT and ACID file creation complete the package.
