A channel strip plug-in modelled on the Neve 1073, built from the best characteristics of twelve 1073 units from Blackbird Studio.

Together with John McBride and the Blackbird Studio team, KIT Plugins modelled twelve different 1073s and combined their best characteristics into one channel, factoring in everything from cables and modifications to age and irregularities. Full Range Modeling (FRM) captures the frequency range from 10 Hz to 96 kHz and reproduces the Class-A preamp with its subtle harmonic distortion, complemented by a 3-band EQ. The final master buss stage, modelled on the output buss of a Neve 8058 console, adds harmonics and compression depending on how hard you drive it, from subtle transient smearing to utterly squashing your track.
