A 7-band equaliser modelled on an original black-faced Motown EQ from Blackbird Studio in Nashville.

The Motown EQ was built in the ’60s by Motown’s engineers and used on countless number one hits; units from the original first batch are now extremely rare. BB Mo-Q models a unit from John McBride’s personal collection using KIT Plugins’ Gen 2 Full Range Modeling from 10 Hz to 96 kHz. Seven musical fixed bands from 50 Hz to 12.5 kHz, selectable oversampling and over 100 presets make the plug-in equally suited to individual tracks and master bus processing.

• Gen 2 Full Range Modeling from 10 Hz to 96 kHz
