A channel strip plug-in modelled on Blackbird Studio’s API Legacy console, with three selectable EQs based on the API 550A, 550L and 560L.

BB A5 is inspired by one of the largest API Legacy consoles ever built, the catalyst for numerous chart-topping records at Blackbird Studio in Nashville, and captures both the sound and the feel of the hardware. Three EQs are available: the 3-band 55A based on the API 550A, the 4-band 55L based on the API 550L, and the 10-band graphic 56L based on the API 560L. Full Range Modeling from 10 Hz to 96 kHz, a master buss stage based on the console’s master channel, Auto-Gain and adjustable analogue hum complete the channel strip.
