A compressor/limiter inspired by the Neve 2254, designed in partnership with Blackbird Studio and tuned to John McBride’s personal taste.

BB N54 is inspired by the Neve 2254 compressor/limiter with its Marinair transformers and captures the low-end weight and harmonic depth that made the original a studio essential. Compression and limiting work together in two stages to add cohesion, warmth and character to any track. Two plug-ins are included: BB N54 Single for stereo or mono-compatible processing, and BB N54 Dual with linked, unlinked and mid/side operation for more complex stereo tasks.

Features

• Two plug-ins: BB N54 Single and BB N54 Dual
• Dual: linked, unlinked and mid/side with mid and side solo
• Sidechain filter (off, 20 Hz to 5 kHz)
• Input and output trims with ±36 dB plus gain reduction meter
• Mix control (0 to 100%) for parallel compression
• A/B comparison, preset system and resizable interface
