The compressor plug-in from the Efektor line with VCA, FET and Opto modes for longer sustain and more consistent levels on guitar and bass.

A compressor suppresses the loudest parts of the signal above the set threshold and then raises the softer parts, narrowing the dynamic range for a more consistent overall level and longer sustaining notes. CP3603 offers three characters: VCA is fast, modern and very clean, FET is aggressive and adds distinct colour, and Opto has the slowest reaction but gives more character and tightness. Although designed specifically for guitar and bass players, it can be used on any other instrument as well.

• Three compression styles: VCA, FET and Opto
• Authentic hardware pedal effect emulation
• Linked or dual-mono mode
• Bypass switch
• Voiced for guitar and bass, also suitable for other instruments
