The Neve 1084 was created as the successor to the legendary Neve 1073, and its sound is a hallmark of many classic recordings from the 70s. Compared with the EVE-AT1, the EVE-AT4 has fewer bands, a smaller frequency palette and fewer Q options, but its strength lies in its unique filter implementation with an idiosyncratic frequency response. This makes the EVE-AT4 the stronger character EQ, adding colour and warmth to tracks while remaining simple and quick to use.
