Mesa/Boogie is regarded as the staple of high-gain tone, and its rectifier design has shaped the sound of heavy music since the early 90s. Like the original, Amplifikation Rectifor covers a wide range of tones, from rounded jazzy cleans and warm crunch to biting overdrive and thick high-gain distortion. Three channels and three amp types, sag and bias, high-pass and low-pass filters, five cabinets with impulse responses from genuine Mesa Boogie cabinets and seven studio microphones with dual-miking allow detailed tone shaping, and the window is resizable.
