A hybrid instrument that blends granular synthesis with organic guitar recordings to create evolving textures, pads and atmospheric sounds.

Strata turns real guitar recordings into living, evolving textures: its four-layer hybrid engine preserves the natural pluck of the guitar while layering deep, moving granular clouds behind it, with dedicated delay and diffusion controls for each layer. More than 200 parameters are accessible through a clean interface, with the Chorus widening the stereo image, the Color engine adding grit and delay and the Randomizer shuffling effects independently. Over 200 presets built from guitar recordings run through boutique gear such as the Meris Polymoon and Pro Co Rat deliver a warm, recorded character for ambient layers, cinematic soundscapes and modern productions.
