Horizon combines high-fidelity recordings of bowed cellos and acoustic instruments with rich analogue synthesis in a hybrid engine of four sound modules, so everything from the delicate air of a soft string section to the aggressive grit of a driven cello feels performed rather than programmed. The central Morph controller moves the sound in real time between bright and open and dark, hollow and moody, while the Lusher and Harmonic Delay processors place sounds in three-dimensional space. A dedicated sub module with selectable wave shapes, Drive and a Motion knob adds a pulsing, rhythmic low end, and 150 factory presets plus 30 custom-designed sound sources drawn from captured cellos and bowed acoustics offer ready-to-use starting points.
