The digital realisation of Roger Schult’s analogue Phase Shifter W2324 phase rotator, giving you a fast and musical way to align individual mix elements.

Developed together with Roger Schult/German Audio Lab, RSPhaseShifter recreates the functionality of the hardware without its analogue shortcomings, deliberately leaving out artificial transformer colour, hum and noise. Rather than simple delay compensation, you shift the phase with the phase angle and frequency controls, bringing back richness and impact on DI and re-amped tracks, top and bottom snare mics, guitar with mic and pickup, or spot mics blended with the main pair. You can also match subwoofers in a surround monitoring setup, fix fold-down issues or create ultra-wide sounds by deliberately manipulating the phase of one side of a stereo track. The controls follow the hardware, but with a linear degree scale, a slightly extended range and phase angles up to 360 degrees.
