The multichannel version of LINpro: all the dithering features of the stereo plug-in for formats with up to 128 channels, for example surround stems for film and video.

LINSurround shares its user interface and engine with LINpro but is channel-count agnostic, supporting up to 128 channels. You can choose from seven noise-shaping spectra, including newly developed psychoacoustic curves of fifth, eighth and ninth order, word lengths of 24, 16 or 8 bits, and rounding or truncation. Triangular, high-passed triangular and rectangular dither, auto-blanking, four factory presets and real noise-shaping plots generated by the engine make the dithering easy to follow. As with any dither, LINSurround belongs at the very end of the signal chain, just before conversion to the final fixed-point format.
