MAAT’s official DR dynamic range meter as a real-time plug-in – successor to the legendary TT Dynamic Range Meter and companion to the DROffline batch measurement utility.

DRMeter estimates the DR value graphically and numerically and also measures sample peak (SPPM), RMS, digital overs and digital black, with ballistics tested against the original TT meter for a familiar feel. The fast peak bar helps you set your limiter, the more damped RMS bars convey perceived loudness, and the -18 dB RMS mark indicates 0 LU for clean gain staging. The traffic-light DR display can run per channel or as a summed left/right reading. Because it works in real time, the plug-in provides estimates from the loudest passages; official integrated DRi values across an entire track are produced by DROffline or DROffline MkII.
