A cabinet simulator for guitar and bass based on statistical analysis of real cabinets rather than individual impulse response files.

Instead of working through thousands of IR files, MCabinet lets you start with a profile derived from the analysis of many real cabinets. Four resonators give the new cabinet its own tonal character, two wideners add natural stereo width and a little ambience, and controls such as flattening and tilt plus a dynamic equaliser round off the sound. The finished cabinet can be exported as an IR file in a few clicks, for example for hardware amp simulators, and the plug-in also works for creative sound design on any material.
