A stereo processor that uses a spectral algorithm to separate the phantom centre from the rest of the stereo signal, balanced with a single knob.

Unlike mid/side processing, where a hard-panned track, for example, counts as half mid and half side, MCenter uses a complex spectral algorithm to separate what really sounds mono from what really sounds stereo. The CENTER/SIDES knob lets you balance the centre and sides within seconds, whether for mastering, mixing or creative purposes. Two algorithms, spectral and traditional mid/side, are available for comparison, and freeform drawing lets you control each frequency individually.
