Select your microphone in the “Your Mic” list and the target model under “Desired Mic”, and MMicSim transfers the sonic character immediately. Every microphone in the database was measured in a professional anechoic chamber using a custom multi-dynamic sweep, and the library covers more than 100 models, including rare vintage mics such as the Telefunken ELA M251 and Neumann M49b. The Smoothness control irons out spectral inaccuracies and resonances, the Dry/Wet knob sets the intensity of the algorithm, and the plug-in can be used on vocals as well as for virtually re-miking drums and guitar cabinets.
