An MSoundFactory instrument with symphonic strings, tailored to the demands of modern pop and cinematic production.

PowerStrings combines the sound of symphonic strings with a streamlined interface, from ambient and pop rock to trailer and film music. With a sample library of just over 600 MB, the instrument is particularly light on resources. Articulations from legato to staccato can be switched live using the low keys, several can be active at once, and each has its own pitch, volume and envelopes. The Creative tab turns the strings into synthetic sounds with convolution, frequency modulation, harmonics control and diffusion, and the FX section offers reverb with five room types, delay, five-band EQ, Motion FX, distortion, chorus, modulation and LoFi.
