A reverb and delay plug-in that, as an “Animistic Performance Reverb”, responds dynamically to your playing and creates an inspiring dialogue between input and output.

BOREALIS is MNTRA’s first effect plug-in and, inspired by guitar pedals and Eurorack effects, offers 14 time-based algorithms: multi-dimensional convolution reverbs sampled in epic and unusual spaces from a lush church to the inside of a piano, shimmering reactive algorithmic reverbs that go to infinity, and vintage modulated delay networks. At its heart is a non-linear control system influenced by video game audio engines and the natural world, which drives a wide range of parameters via your input signal, a deep modulation network and three control axes, operated through the X, Y and Z Perform animations of the main screen, with deep detailed control underneath. Three modulators and an envelope follower can modulate each other. A mastering section with parametric EQ and a Modern or Vintage limiter shapes both the dry and wet signals.
