Named after the Maya god of wind, storm and fire, Huracan leads into an alternate timeline in which pre-Hispanic cultures developed their own synthesisers and electronic instruments. Mntra deeply sampled a curated collection of sources from the personal arsenal of founder Brian D’Oliveira, composer of Shadow of the Tomb Raider and The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, and the MNDALA 2 engine, built to capture and reproduce extreme-definition audio, lets you discover even the ultrasonic textures hidden within these ancient winds and percussion. An intuitive three-axis global control system shapes the sounds, while an extensive custom-made effects system transforms the source material into otherworldly synths and textures whose natural air and pitch fluctuations add life and variation.
