A virtual instrument inspired by desolate landscapes and ancient aesthetics, combining arcane instruments and techniques from medieval, Nordic and pan-Asian musical cultures.

Strings, percussion, voices and more blend in Orakle into a vast, unique cinematic soundscape, performed by award-winning multi-instrumentalist and composer Brian D’Oliveira with medieval and Eastern-inspired performance methods and unconventional extended techniques. From powerful Tibetan horns and a giant concert bass drum to the grating wails of the Turkish kabak kemane and treble viola da gambas, Orakle creates a distinctly dark atmosphere. Every note is a unique performance that you can sculpt further in the MNDALA 2 engine along countless pathways of dynamic sound design.
