The drum sampler with around 50,000 samples of a DW custom kit that responds to your playing like a real drummer thanks to intelligent algorithms.

MINDst Drums takes the dynamics and timing of real drumming into account and responds musically to your MIDI input in real time, for example in snare rolls or the decay of consecutive crash hits. The sampled kit is drummer Doron Giat’s DW custom kit with cymbals of his own design; every drum was sampled both from silence and from previous resonance, and the hi-hat plays different closed samples depending on the time since it was last opened. The custom MLAC audio codec keeps loading times and disk footprint low despite the roughly 50,000 samples. The tight, punchy sound suits rock, funk, fusion and metal in particular, complemented by a mixer with reverbs and effects and a MIDI player with hundreds of grooves.
