The MF-101S Lowpass Filter re-invents Moog Music’s classic MF-101 analogue effects pedal as a plug-in, pairing the legendary Moog ladder filter with an envelope follower for dynamic control.

Introduced in 1998, the hardware MF-101 combined two complete modular functions: a classic, all-analogue 4-pole lowpass filter and an envelope follower that imparts dynamic motion to the filtered sound. Designed by Bob Moog and his engineering team as a direct descendant of the original Moog modular synthesizers, it processes guitar, voice, synthesizer and any other audio source. The MF-101S meticulously captures the warm, vibrant sound and the organic interaction of the controls, and handles classic lowpass duties as well as dynamic envelope filtering. New additions include separate left and right envelope followers in stereo mode, an adjustable response curve and attenuatable CV inputs for cutoff, resonance, envelope amount and mix, along with presets, multiple instances and virtual CV links to the other Moogerfooger plug-ins.
