The MF-103S 12-Stage Phaser re-invents Moog Music’s classic MF-103 pedal as a plug-in – a descendant of the vibrant 1970s rack-mounted Moog phaser with on-board LFO, delivering its distinctive psychedelic, enveloping sound.

Introduced in 1999, the MF-103 combined two complete modular functions: a 6-stage/12-stage voltage-controlled phaser and a voltage-controlled wide-range LFO. Designed by Bob Moog and his engineering team as a direct descendant of the original Moog modular synthesizers, it processes guitar, voice, synthesizer and any other audio source. The MF-103S meticulously captures the psychedelic sound and the organic interaction of the controls, adding warmth, depth and stereo movement through notch filtering and classic phaser effects. New additions include the recreated main and aux outputs of the original with stereo routing, a second inverted LFO for stereo modulation and attenuatable CV inputs for LFO rate, LFO amount, resonance and sweep plus a second sweep input that modulates the two six-stage sections independently, along with presets, multiple instances and virtual CV links to the other Moogerfooger plug-ins.
