The MF-105S MuRF (Multiple Resonant Filter Array) re-invents Moog Music’s classic MF-105 pedal as a plug-in, combining a resonant filter bank with a pattern generator and skewing envelope for vibrant animation of any incoming sound.

Introduced in 2004, the MF-105 combined two basic functions: an array of eight resonant filters that can be voiced for bass or mid frequency response, and a pre-programmed animation module that generates sequences of envelopes to modulate the levels of the eight filters. Designed by Bob Moog and his engineering team as a direct descendant of the original Moog modular synthesizers, it processes guitar, voice, synthesizer and any other audio source. The MF-105S meticulously captures the distinctive sound and the organic interaction of the controls, and can be used for EQing, filtering and spectral animation. New additions include a pattern editor for editing the original animation patterns or creating your own, a stereo mode that splits the eight filters across the stereo field, an alternate envelope bank and attenuatable CV inputs for pattern rate, internal LFO rate, envelope shape, LFO amount and mix, along with presets, multiple instances and virtual CV links to the other Moogerfooger plug-ins.
