GainAim matches the actual level to a target level of your choice, with five modes determining how quickly this happens: Rider preserves the natural sound, Leveler works as an autogain for each vocal track, Fast serves as a bass rider and suits fast, highly dynamic signals such as rap, Squash heavily compresses the signal, and Locked freezes the current gain setting. Processing happens without any perceptible delay, so GainAim can also be used at live events. NoiseFloor excludes signals such as breaths or noise below a threshold, and Channel Link sets the amount of stereo linking applied to the trigger signal. This lets you prepare vocals and bass before compression and avoid over-compression.
